Empower change, one click at a time. Donate now and be the difference
In the fall of 2022, the Ripples of Change Foundation embarked on a mission to witness, validate, and empower individuals through their trauma. Our core belief is that by giving voice to personal stories of trauma, we not only facilitate healing but also transform these narratives into a source of strength. This transformation creates ripples of change, offering others the courage to share and heal from their own experiences, and moving us away from a cycle of trauma and terror that pervades our world.
“Today, we stand on the brink of an internal war — not of nations, but of personal trauma and grief. Recognizing the urgency of addressing this war within, Ripples of Change is committed to amplifying voices that have long been silenced or unheard.”
Our partnership with the USAFA Women Writers is a testament to this commitment. Together, we are working on an ambitious project: a historical narrative non-fiction that marks the upcoming 50th anniversary of women’s involvement in the U.S. Air Force Academy and other military academies by 2026. This book aims to celebrate the diverse, yet unified experiences of women in the military, framing their stories within the context of the heroine’s journey — a narrative arc that embodies healing, empowerment, and triumph over adversity.
The vision for this book, spearheaded by Eileen Isola, a retired Air Force Veteran and Academy graduate, and her colleagues, is clear: to provide a platform for healing, not to dwell on trauma. This aligns perfectly with our philosophy at Ripples of Change, where we believe in the power of storytelling as a tool for healing.
However, the realization of this vision requires more than just words; it requires action, support, and resources. The stories these courageous women wish to share are not just their own — they are a mirror to countless untold stories of struggle, resilience, and healing.
We invite you to join us in this vital mission. Your donation to the Ripples of Change Foundation will directly support the creation of the USAFA Women Writers historical narrative non-fiction and further our efforts to bring healing and empowerment to those who have endured the unimaginable. Together, we can turn the tides of trauma into waves of change, healing, and empowerment.
Your support can help us bring these powerful stories to light, offering hope and healing to many. Join us in creating a legacy of strength, resilience, and change.
